Cable & Wireless employees have been involved in fire safety training between February and April 2004.
The training was delivered by the Acting Deputy Fire Chief and his team of the St Helena Fire and Rescue Service, and consisted of Theory and Practical Sessions, aimed at raising awareness of fire safety in the work place and the correct use of fire safety procedures in all instances.
For some of the employees this training provided new experiences, whilst for others the training was a basic refresher of what was already known, however feedback indicates employees found the training very beneficial.
Pictured above, is Kevin George, Service Provisioning Supervisor taking an active part in practical exercises and below is Richard Stevens, one of our Technicians from the Networks Team (also an ex-fire fighter from the St Helena Fire and Rescue Service).
