Master of Business Administration with In Company Practice
Following a year’s training in Coventry UK, Mandy Peters, Human Resources Manager South Atlantic has returned to St Helena having achieved an MBA with In-Company Practice. Mandy’s course, resulted in two awards with the University of Sunderland; the post-graduate Professional Development Diploma in Management Studies and the Masters Degree in Business Administration. Though the past year has been intense Mandy has emerged successful with a highly commendable qualification, and returned to the newly formed regional role of Human Resources Manager, South Atlantic.

Certified Accountant Technician
Noleen Stevens, Retail, Marketing and Customer Services Officer is now fully qualified as a Certified Account Technician (CAT). The CAT qualification, internationally recognised and highly regarded, comprises 10 modules which are a combination of exams and practical experience in the workplace. It has equipped Noleen with all the necessary technical skills and provided a firm knowledge of accounting, enabling her to fast track towards becoming a professional ACCA accountant, for which she is now studying. Also studying towards the CAT qualification is Anita Peters, Finance Officer. Anita is currently awaiting results for Paper 4, Accounting for Costs, and about to embark on Paper 5, Managing People and Systems. Good luck to both Anita and Noleen!

Stonebridge Associated Colleges, Market Research (Skills Course)
Karen Ellick, Retail Marketing and Customer Services Assistant and Nikita Crowie, Contact Support Centre Operator have both successfully completed Market Research (Skills Course) with ‘A’ and ‘B’ grades respectively. This course is designed to introduce the student to market research and strategy and results in two qualifications; the Market Research (Skills Course) Certificate issued by Stonebridge Associated Colleges, and the ASET Level 1 Market Research (Skills Course) Award. ASET is a national awarding body, specialising in providing, quality assuring and certifying vocational learning programmes.
