'easycard' - Seychelles’ first PREPAID card for fixed-line phones! -

Enjoy total control on the move!
Whether at home, in the office, at a friend’s place or on a callbox, Cable and Wireless Seychelles has just given customers a new, easy way of making calls that gives them total control! With the introduction of ‘easycard’, C&W is the first telecomms provider in Seychelles to introduce a prepaid calling card that allows customers to make calls from fixed-line phones, almost anywhere, anytime!

Easycards are packed with value!
Easycards have been designed with the customer in mind allowing them to enjoy the convenience and flexibility of making national and international calls using any C&W fixed-line phone in Seychelles. An easycard customer can make calls and not worry about ringing up a high bill as the cost of the call is not passed onto the fixed-line phone that they are using. As the call is made, it is actually deducted from the easycard automatically and when money runs out on the card, a customer can simply purchase another one. More importantly, customers get to enjoy the same low fixed-line rates that they pay at home – both for national and international calls. In other words, for the first time ever, customers can now make fixed-line calls at fixed-line rates whilst on the move! And it’s so easy to use . . .

Using an easycard is easy and fun . . . just dial 108.
Using an easycard to make calls is simple. Typically, a customer would purchase a card and follow the instructions on the reverse to make a call. Also on the reverse of each card, is a scratch-off panel that contains an account number, which the customer would need each time he/she makes a call. Using any C&W fixed-line phone or call box, a customer would simply dial 108, follow the voice prompts and be ready to enter the account number on the reverse of the card followed by the number of the person they wish to call. By following the voice prompts, a customer can also use the menu options to listen to his/her remaining balance on the card.

Another significant advantage is that customers who use the “code control barring” facility to control their phone usage can still use easycards without having to unblock their handset. This gives customers access whilst still allowing them to maintain control, which for example could prove very useful for households with many family members who all use the same phone.

“Cable & Wireless is thrilled to be the first to offer such an innovative and exciting product to the people of Seychelles!” said Mr. Cyril Bonnelame, the company’s Director for Corporate Sales and Marketing. “With easycards, customers now have more choice on how to make calls and more control over their call usage. Easycards can keep money in your pockets whilst giving you the freedom to talk on the move – just use any C&W fixed-line phone!”

Using easycards on the outer islands . . .
Customers on outer islands can also enjoy the service but need to dial a different number (106) to make calls. A different range of easycards are available to these customers, which can only be used on the outer islands.

Easycards are available for everyone!
Easycards come in SR50 and SR100 denominations and are being sold from outlets across the island, which can be identified by the “easycard sign”. Cards will also be available from C&W centres. Both easycard denominations come with colourful, distinctive designs. A one month expiry period on SR50 cards and a two month period on SR100 cards have been applied with the expiry period starting on the date of first use. Other Terms of Use apply.
