| Cable makes massive SR35 million investment |

Better, more advanced mobile services
Cable & Wireless Seychelles is delighted to announce that it is investing in equipment and services to the value of SR35 million with the aim of enhancing its all round mobile offering.
The Company has joined forces with two leading players in the GSM field to enhance its GSM network and prepaid services with a brand new GSM/GPRS (2.5G) mobile network, which is also third generation (3G) capable. It will not only improve coverage but also increase capacity to handle more traffic from more customers; and allow for the introduction of a raft of additional products, services and advances - all designed to ensure that telecommunications capabilities in Seychelles are up there with the best in the world.
"Cable & Wireless has taken the initiative to make mobile communications in Seychelles easier and more advanced than ever before and the positive results of the investment will be experienced by our customers," explains Usman Saadat, Chief Executive at Cable & Wireless Seychelles.
By mid 2006, both prepaid and post paid mobile customers can expect to see more attractive services and enhanced performance.

services including MMS (Multimedia Messaging), WAP (Mobile Internet Browsing);
