| Cable & Wireless rewards the SMS Fun Quiz Winners! |

26-year-old Rita Fanchette is the Star prizewinner for the Cable SMS Fun Quiz that ran from 3rd
December 2004 to 3rd January 2005. She won herself a mobile Alcatel 332 with coloured screen.
Rita, who lives at Forêt Noire and works at the State Assurance Corporation, was one of 2000 customers who used Cable SMS to text the correct answer to a multiple choice question in order to automatically qualify for the draw. The correct answer to the question, “Who is known as the Fresh Prince?” was Will Smith. To increase their chances of winning, customers were encouraged to send as many SMS as they possibly could and as a result the company received over 7000 messages.
The second prize, a full year’s supply of soft drinks, went to Betty-May Leon. Vincent Padayachy, who sent over 200 SMS, won 12 Deepam Cinema movie tickets in the form of 3 vouchers. 12 other lucky customers received 1 voucher each, exchangeable for 4 Deepam movie tickets.
The winners received their prizes from Usman Sadaat, Chief Executive Officer, Cable & Wireless Seychelles, in a short presentation ceremony held at the Exiles Club on Monday 24th January.
