Cable&Wireless Worldwide National Private Line (NPL) lets you link your sites in the UK with dependable leased-line connections, offering bandwidth from 2 Mbit/s to 10 Gbit/s.

HOW IT WORKS
Cable&Wireless Worldwide NPL from 2 Mbit/s to 2.5 Gbit/s uses clear channel connections with synchronous digital hierarchy (SDH). This gives ‘working’ and ‘protection’ paths, to ensure high levels of availability.
From 2.5 to 10 Gbit/s, NPL uses Dense Wave Division Multiplexing (DWDM), routed over our fibre-optic network. You choose the protocol and level of protection you want to make maximum use of the bandwidth. Our circuits are highly reliable, with self-healing SDH and redundancy, so we can promise virtually error-free data transmission.
Our Network Management Centre monitors your NPL service regularly, with our Customer Service Centre as a 24/7 point of contact. We also offer a dedicated National Private Line Data Centre service to support storage area networking, disaster recovery and business continuity.
