HOW IT WORKS
Ethernet VPN uses a Virtual Private LAN Service (VPLS) to provide any-to-any private virtual networking between your LAN sites, "bridging" them across the virtual network to create your VPN.
It's ideal for carrying variable volumes of different traffic such as voice, video and data, efficiently and securely. Our Ethernet VPN let you "flex" bandwidth, to accommodate bandwidth hungry applications cost-effectively. You can prioritise the Class of Service for particular traffic, improving service resilience. As the service is transparent, it doesn't interfere with the way you manage your IP network and applications.
Ethernet VPN is part of the Cable&Wireless Worldwide Next Generation product portfolio. These products are designed to work with each other and be bundled together across our Multi Service Platform (MSP) network, giving you multiple products and services across the same access connection.
