We have a one stop shop, called My Performance & Development with all the resources and support you’ll need to drive your performance, development and career at Cable&Wireless Worldwide.

My Performance & Development has been created so that colleagues are in the driving seat and can take action at any time throughout the year. Colleagues work their way around the wheel to understand themselves (Know Me), have clarity on what they need to deliver in their role (Focus Me), be involved in their performance review conversation (Involve Me) and to access the development and career progression that is meaningful for them (Value Me).
Sitting behind My Performance and Development is My Career Framework which gives colleagues a huge amount of information about Job Families, Behaviour Competencies, and Role profiles to enable colleagues to develop in the way that’s important for them.
Development activities are largely managed through iLeARN our award winning way of learning that's available to colleagues 24x7 from the office, home or anywhere else with an Internet connection.
This includes:
eBooks – Instant access to a virtual library of around 10,000 of the leading business and technology books, with downloadable chapters in the form of PDF files.
eLearning Courses – Over 2,000 Interactive e-learning courses covering a range of business, IT and desktop skills. Presented in a user friendly way with pre-topic tests so that you maximise your time learning only the areas that are relevant to you.
Custom eLearning - Courses that have been developed with the help of internal subject matter experts to address specific C&W Worldwide business requirements usually based around product, process or systems.
Instructor Led Training – Courses that take place in either a classroom or over a webinar, includes areas such as technical, product and health & safety training.
Professional Certification - Provides colleagues with the opportunity to self-study towards certification at a foundation level in ITIL, Cisco, Six Sigma and Prince2, then take the exam at an independent test centre.
Mentoring – 24/7 instant access to a qualified online mentor who can provide support and answer questions on specific courses and certification programmes.
Simulations - Technology-enabled simulations that put colleagues in an authentic business or professional situation then provides specific feedback on how they've performed.

In addition, for colleagues we run specific development activities under the heading iMatter. This activity consists of webinars, workouts and quick guides on topics relevant to all colleagues.
To support our managers, we’ve created the Management Matters programme which is designed to practically and efficiently build management skills, in order that we positively lead our people to deliver our business plan. Management Matters consists of short 'how to' training sessions around specific monthly themes, delivered via webinars and followed-up by practical workshops that enable managers to embed the learning from the webinars. There's also hand-picked iLeARN activities and resources aligned to each monthly theme.
