Recruitment Fraud

It has come to our attention that some members of the public have received job offers from bogus recruitment companies pretending to recruit for Cable&Wireless Worldwide. Part of this fraud involves the bogus recruitment company asking for large sums of money to pay for things along the lines of work permits or insurance policies.

Please note that these communications are entirely fraudulent, they do not originate from Cable&Wireless Worldwide and at no point would we ask a candidate to part with any money during the recruitment process.

If you feel that you may have received such correspondence from someone where you are unsure whether or not it is genuine, please get in touch with our recruitment team and we will look into this for you:

Telephone: +44 (0)800 068 7750 (Option 4 follwed by Option 1)
Email address: cw.careers@cw.com

Points that may indicate that you are the target of fraudulent recruitment:

  • At some point during the communication, money is requested to be transferred
  • The use of poor English and grammatical errors in communication
  • Poorly formatted documentation that does not match the Cable&Wireless Worldwide brand
  • Communication does not come from a "@cw.com" email address
