Wallpapers
Digital wallpapers are an integral part of our brand system and they have a central role to play within the global creative platform. They help to give Cable & Wireless communications a contemporary and distinctive look and feel.

All our external communications should feature some aspect of the wallpaper range, as part of their layout. Wallpapers can be used in association with specific imagery, or as stand-alone elements. They can be used across the whole range of communications materials.

Offline they are particularly effective for packaging, direct mail, simple product orientated brochures, datasheets, exhibition panels, posters and invitations.

Online they can be used within our graphic 'mosaics' and within web banners to create continuity between on-line and off-line communications.

There are 12 different wallpapers images - six with circular effects and six with linear effects - which can be personalised with any of the Cable & Wireless primary or secondary colours.

Imaginative use of the wallpapers and colours can deliver clear messages - for example:
  • using stronger colours from the palette can evoke a sense of vibrancy and immediacy
  • pairing two complementary colours together can produce an eye-catching piece of direct mail
  • alternatively, tints of our secondary colours (in increments of 10%) can be used with wallpapers, to create very subtle moods or background patterns
  • use of the linear wallpapers can convey connections or speed
  • use of the circular wallpapers can evoke a sense of 'creating' - transforming new business opportunities or the way that business is done
  • wallpapers may animate on certain applications, such as video or sales promotional items if required - however, animated wallpapers are not used on our web site, cw.com
