Cable & Wireless provides card phone booths in Georgetown, Two Boats Village, RAF Travellers Hill camp, at the Airport departure terminal and on the US Military base. The public are able to dial locally and internationally from these card phones. The protel type card units accept Chip type phone cards. The card denominations are £3.00, £5.00 & £10.00 and they can be purchased from various vendors around the island.
Cable & Wireless, Ascension Island, currently operate 14 telephone booths, which are located in various locations around the Island. The telephone booths are Protel type units and use Chip cards only. Customers are able to dial Locally & Internationally from the booths. Phone cards for these booths can be purchased from various sale points around the Island. The card denominations are £3.00, £5.00 & £10.00. Full user instructions and a list of phone card vendor’s locations can be found posted in each of the card phone booths.
